The story behind Review Catch
We're twin brothers who started a gardening business straight out of high school.
As new business owners, we realised very quickly how important Google reviews were, because when you don't have them, you're almost invisible online, and your potential customers won't pick you because they don't trust you.
But the problem was actually getting the reviews.
Asking in person felt awkward so we searched for a different solution and found that when we included our Google review link in a quick follow up text as soon as we completed a job, our customers were happy to leave us their feedback online.
There was just one problem, we couldn't stay on top of it. It was the 99th thing on our plate and by the time we remembered, it wasn't fresh in their mind anymore.
We needed this to be automated.
We looked for existing solutions but what we found was way out of our budget and unrealistic for a small business like ours.
We had the technical skills and we had a clear picture of what we actually needed: something simple, affordable, and 100% automatic that took getting reviews off our plate. Something that sent a follow-up to customers after a job and made it genuinely easy for them to leave a review.
So we built the solution.
It worked incredibly well and that's when we realised, every other small business owner is struggling with the exact same problem that we had. Happy customers, but barely any reviews.
And so we created Review Catch.
Today, we help those businesses collect their reviews automatically so their hard work actually gets represented online. Because small businesses deserve to be seen.
