Review Catch Limited is committed to protecting your privacy and the privacy of your customers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe. We operate in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

When you sign up for Review Catch, we collect:

Your name and business name
Your phone number and email address
Your Google Business Profile details
Your software/business systems (e.g. job management, CRM, booking, or invoicing platforms)
Your billing information (processed and stored securely by Stripe, we do not store full card details)

Where required to operate the service, we may connect to your Google Business Profile or business software systems in order to access the minimum data necessary to deliver the service.

2. Information We Collect About Your Customers

To operate the service, you provide us with customer contact details so we can send review request SMS and email messages on your behalf. We collect only what is necessary to deliver the service:

Customer first name
Customer mobile phone number
Customer email address

We do not collect any other personal information about your customers.

3. How We Use This Information

We use the information we collect to:

Set up and operate your automated review request system
Send SMS messages to your customers on your behalf
Send email messages to your customers on your behalf
Process your payments
Communicate with you about your account and results
Improve our service

We do not sell, rent, or share your data or your customers' data with any third party for marketing purposes. Ever.

4. Third-Party Platforms

To deliver our service, we use the following third-party platforms. These platforms process limited data only where necessary to deliver the service.

Stripe: payment processing

From time to time we may introduce additional service providers to improve or maintain our service. Where we do so, they will only receive the minimum data necessary to perform their function. Each provider operates under its own privacy and security policies.

5. SMS and Email Messaging

SMS and email messages are sent to your customers using your business identity. By providing us with customer contact details, you confirm that your customers have consented to receiving communications from your business, and that this use complies with the New Zealand Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and your customers' contact data for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you wish to resume the service. If you would like your data deleted, contact us at info@reviewcatch.co.nz and we will action your request promptly.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your data from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Our systems are password protected and access is limited to those who need it to operate the service. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our systems.

8. Your Rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020, you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal information. You can also opt out of non-essential communications.

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
You can ask us to correct details that are wrong or out of date.
You can request deletion of your information where the law allows it.
